A day when members of our community and our village are asked to come together and give big or small for the seniors.
Pound Pals is home to sixty (60) seniors with long term medical needs. Every senior in our program is on daily medication. The seniors require frequent vet visits. We deal with all illnesses including but not limited to Heart worms, Kidney issues, Heart issues, Liver issues, IMHA, Ehrlicchia, GI Disorders and Cancer.
The average senior will spent two and a half years of quality life while in our care. We are their last home. Every senior is placed in a loving long term foster home and treated as a family pet until they cross the bridge.
Many have never lived inside, slept on a bed or snuggled under a warm blanket prior to arriving.
Every senior in our program has endured long term neglect. As a result, they have multiple long term medical needs.
Vet funding is our greatest need. Your tax deductible donation will help the seniors in our program get the continuing medical care they need and will allow us to continue to answer last call pleas from seniors on death row.
